Here's a new video of Forza 3 showing off some of the 29 Ferraris set to appear in MS' huge racing sim when it hits shelves on October 29.
"Forza Motorsport 3 will include 29 classic models from the legendary manufacturer, including iconic cars such as the Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 512 TR, Ferrari F40, Ferrari Enzo, and Ferrari 430 Scuderia," says MS.
It'll also feature a strip of road along the Amalfi Coast of Italy. "Amalfi coast is 3 kilometers (over 19 kilometers in "Rally di Positano" configuration), of challenging narrow cobblestone roads, beautiful beachside vistas and tight tunnels," MS explains.
Hopefully they'll include the 458 Italia, as that car looks sweet. First Ferrari I've liked the look of in years, although the classics still look the best.
I reckon the 458 is still new, and it's not likely that Ferrari would give them an early first sighting or anything. Will more likely be in the first DLC.
But I agree with you - I hate the Enzo/FXX and the 450. In fact, I don't like any of the new design of supercars that have those narrow snouts. Thank god this one doesn't.
Here's a link to the Ferrari section of the official Forza site, they show all of the Ferrari's included in Forza 3...but then encourage us viewers to return later this week for a very special Ferrari related announcement. The "Ferrari 458 Italia" perhaps?
Simply breathtaking. Forza 3 is king of racing games. Catch you in the auction house soon guys. I cannot wait to flip a Range Rover by driving it into an F1.

Nearly demo time!
Yep, it does look absolutely gorgeous, but I'm going to give the upcoming demo in a couple of days a miss as this is one beauty I want to play afresh...can't wait!!
I just dont get the thinking - opportunity to have a great article combing both ferrari videos (gt5 and forza), but no, they just go forza
Yeah that does seem strange. Maybe they just missed it (I didn't see the GT one over at EG either...).
Looking at the in-game portions of GT5, I'm very surprised. I've always seen GT as the best racer, graphically, but it seems Forza has caught up nicely. The only thing I wish Turn10 would take from GT is the camera focussing that Polyphony have always used perfectly.
I've seen both Forza 3 and GT5's rendition of the 458 Italia now, and personally I preferred GT5's more, because it was extremely classy and sensual, but I would have to say the award goes to Forza 3 because it was using all the in game graphics. GT5's was using a lot of smooth in and out close ups and transitions, coupled with a strong blend of AA and depth of field - features of a photo mode, but in motion... anyway, here are both videos:
