Rock Band 2 finally gets Wii date

UK and Euro version coming in October
EA, Harmonix and MTV Games have all agreed that Rock Band 2 will ship in Europe and the UK on Wii this October for around £29.99.

"Featuring over 100 songs, Rock Band 2 showcases an extensive music catalogue with an eclectic blend of classic and new artists. The Rock Band library for Wii in Europe will have over 250 songs available on disc and for download by early 2010 with new content added weekly," says the release.

Bloody ridiculous.

Oh, and this article says that the game is compatible with GH controllers, yet a chart that I've seen from previous research suggests not.

Can anybody confirm that if I were to buy this game, I would be able to use World Tour's drums, and guitar?

you can on the 360 version so i don't see why you wouldn't be able to on the wii version.
WHERESMYMONKEY on 29 Sep '09
yeah you can use guitar hero controllers on this ive been using them since jan on the usa version

The official Rock Band compatability matrix shows that Rock Band 2 works with the Guitar Hero stuff - Rock band 1 however is not.

also does anyone know if Australia is getting this release? we have been waiting forever here as well!
