Valve, You're doing it wrong. The people who pre-order it don't need a demo, they have already decided that the game is worth buying or you wouldn't have their money. You should be giving the early demo to people like me who are still unconvinced that this game is going to be worth buying.
Agreed. Demos should be used to promote the game to people who would not normally buy it or are undecided. Why dont they just give them the game early?
Game.co.uk have advertised this for over a month. So your a bit slow seeing it on youtube. Fact is CVG have just informed people who didn't already know, it may be slow but there is still plenty of time until the game is released.
Totally agree that demo should be for people sitting on the fence. I will definitely not be buying this at full price anyway. I could be proved wrong about this but it looks like L4D 1.3 I dont blame valve for wanting to do a sequel as quickly as possible but I just dont think I will be buying it.
Steam started pre-ordering, that's why CVG reported it.
Those complaining about price or L4D 1.5 - get 3 friends together and buy a 4-pack on Steam with the 10% discount makes each copy £20. That's cheaper than most expansion packs.

Those are my thoughts too. On the other hand, one could argue that some of the people whom pre-ordered L4D2 might get cold feet, so to keep them on board they get the demo first. Still, if they just released the demo for everyone at the same time, then Valve would kill two birds with one stone by assuaging both camps in one fell swoop.
