Epic Mickey is official

Warren Spector goes Wii exclusive, just as we revealed
Official confirmation of Disney Interactive and Warren Spector's Epic Mickey has arrived, via US mag Game Informer.

The game - which is looking spectacular via GI's cover art - is being co-developed by Spector's studio Junction Point and Disney Interactive Studios.

That's about it for the moment as far as mag details go, but CVG revealed earlier this year that the game is a Wii-exclusive adventure which has players painting their way through gritty levels using the Wii Remote.

The story is said to involve very old and/or forgotten Disney characters who are out to get their revenge on Mickey, presumably because they're jealous of all his fame and fortune. More soon then.

Awesome, hope it turns out as well as they're making out. It could go either way though.

deus mouse??

If the final game turns out half as good as that concept art does it'll be bloody awesome.

I like the sound of a darker and more sinister Disney game. Forgotten Disney characters hmm, Would that include Roger & Jessica Rabbit? lol
