Will Modern Warfare 2 see a Wii release?

"We want to give the Wii consumer new experiences and we'll continue to do that," says MW: Reflex exec producer
It might be a few years behind the times but Wii is finally getting its own release of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare in the form of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex. And it doesn't sound like a semi-skimmed version either. So does that mean that we can expect to see some sort of Wii version of Modern Warfare 2 a year or two down the line?

Well Reflex's executive producer Daniel Suarez won't rule it out. But he won't exactly confirmed it either. Instead he chose to give one of those ambiguous responses he must have got from the PR department.

When asked outright if Modern Warfare 2 is coming to Wii, Suarez told Official Nintendo Magazine, "Treyarch is working on this (Modern Warfare: Reflex) right now. Infinity Ward is working on Modern Warfare 2 right now. I think it's fair to say that we want to give the Wii consumer new experiences and we'll continue to do that."

Either way sounds promising for Wii owners that don't have another console. Hit the link above for more info on the Wii game.

interesting,it may happen but i expect it to be a wii hd launch title-maybe the game of the year edition late 2010/early 2011.

as for reflex: even though i've hammered modern warfare on 360 and pc i'm still interested in the wii version of cod4. i've heard wii speak has been implemented and all dlc is included on the disc- carantan/chinatown ftw.

More and better FPS's coming to Wii is only a good thing, and even if they are 2 years late, who cares, nobody can complain.

I would rather I separate verion of a MW game for the Wii. That way, I can be greedy and play on separate games on PC and Wii Smile
