EU PS video store changes revealed

First shot of the UK Video Store shows off changed menu options
The first screenshot of the UK PlayStation Video Store shows a revamped menu system differing slightly from the already-live US store.

As Electric Pig notes, the HD Only option has been moved up the list, while 'Anime' has been moved off the front page altogether - likely to the Categories menu. A new Special Offers menu has also turned up, which mean we could see discounted content on a regular basis.

Sony confirmed that the Video Store for UK in November, but is yet to name the exact day. Luckily Americans get a double-bill of movie goodness on PS3, with the Netflix movie streaming service having been confirmed for Sony's console earlier.

No anime? Sony you bottomholes....

I think you'll find the article says it has been moved, from the front page to the catergories menu (one simple button press).

I guess this is due to differing audience demand. None of my friends and me included really are into anime, it's a niche area of media I guess.

Give Sony credit though, atleast they have told us more about what has already been announced, unlike their avatar plans which since gamescon we're heard nothing about.

I'm looking forward to using this, especially if they get competitive with the pricing. For example, my PS3 is hooked up to the same TV as the Sky box, so if movies are cheaper on there than on Sky Box Office, I'll be using it a fair amount.
