Free Brutal Legend DLC detailed

Tears of the Hextadon pack free on PS3
New downloadable multiplayer maps are on their way to Brutal Legend in November, EA has confirmed.

The first slice of DLC for Brutal Legends, entitled Tears of the Hextadon, will bring two new multiplayer maps to the game when it goes live on Xbox Live on November 3 and PSN on November 5.

The good news for PS3 fans is that the pack will be downloadable for free until November 19, after which it'll cost £3.99. On Xbox it'll cost 400 MS points (around £3.40) from day one.

As EA explains: "In the first map, Circle of Tears, vile waters have carved a rough-hewn circular battlefield into a forsaken land that players must circumvent to destroy their opponent.

"In the second map, Death's Fjord, players find themselves on an icy mountain pass with a dense cluster of fans that lie below, waiting to be harvested by those brave enough to capture them without cover from enemy attack. All players who download the new map pack will receive a free axe, the Blade of Ormagöden."

The games pretty good, but the RTS style online MP is a bit of a clusterf***. Its still entertaining, but I wont be shelling out 400 for 2 more maps, im afraid.

think i'll give it a miss too. I'd much prefer more stuff for the single player. It was awesome but over way too quickly.

So download it before, even if you havent got the game.

Free DLC is the way forward!!

Won't be bothering with this i'm afraid until the online service is sorted out.
I have a ten meg connection and no problem with xbox live at all.
PSN though is a joke when matchmaking. Uncharted 2 takes long enough to find other players but Brutal Legend has taken in excess of TEN MINUTES a few times and play is really jerky.
Seriously can it be that hard to find an online game?
