Here's the first screenshot of EA's UFC competitor, EA Sports MMA.
Not much is known gameplay-wise about the burly bruiser yet, but EA Sports boss Peter Moore said: "Fans have been begging EA Sports to get into the cage, and EA Sports MMA will put them in control of the sport's unique combat experience while finally, in an immersive interactive experience, capturing the raw intensity that has made mixed martial arts one of the fastest growing sports in the world. We're ready for the fight."
Fighters set to star in the game include Tim Sylvia, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Frank Trigg and Randy Couture. There's probably some MMA nutter out there who's heard of this lot.

What? Who hasnt heard of Frank Trigg, Jason 'Mayhem' Miller, Tim 'The Maniac' Silva or Randy 'The Natural' Couture .
UFC is where its at and these guys are all ex or current (The Natural) UFC Fighters, ill probably pick this up being a 'nutter' myself but I dont know how well it will do if it doesnt have the UFC brand behind it?
It sure is Fedor! I think he's going to be the poster boy for the Game, from what I read online. Dana has tried to sign him on numerous occasions only to be politely knocked back, he was supposed to have been offered $5million a fight for 5 fights, plus a share of tickets merchandising and he still said no.
No doubting he is a massive name in the sport but I dont know if he has the cross over knowledge of say Chuck Liddell, Randy or Forrest Griffin.
Brock v Fedor? Never going to happen, not even in the world of Games
The UFC is where it is at for promotion of fighters and getting them known in the west but to not recognise other fighters in other promotions and across the world is ignorant.
Also it's Tim "Maine-iac" Sylvia because he was born in maine.
I reckon this might turn out quite a good game, there are certainly hundreds of fighters outside of the UFC that i'd love to play as.
I'm hoping this has a system of being able to sign for different promotions like Strikeforce, WEC, Bellator, Deep, Shooto, DREAM, WVR-Sengoku and even some made up promotions that would be awesome. Would certainly be possible with EA's money, but i'm not sure how much they recognise the demographic.
There are a lot of us MMA 'nutters' around nowadays. It would be really difficult to get everones favourite fighters together because of licensing issues nowadays. The EA MMA title has a better chance of getting a lot of fighters from different orgs. The UFC is very possessive of it's fighters.
