Sorry, but that's just utter b******s. No ifs or buts or shadows of doubt, Little King's Story.

I very much doubt that any of the GJ voters have even heard of the game, let alone played it. What a complete mainstream bottom-licking these awards have turned into.

As a well known Tennis player once said:
'You can not be serious!'

The fact that Little King's Story is not even on that list makes me wonder why they even bother asking.

'Lets all vote for the biggest mainstream games which are crap but everyone buys.'

Little King's Story was teh shiz!

Why is it the great games seem to sink out of sight on the Wii?

No More Heroes, Madworld, Overkill, Metroid Prime 3, Zack and Wiki, and of course - Little King's Story.

Bloody travesty! Rolling Eyes

Mainly because of a lack of promotion and advertising, but also because too many so-called 'core' gamers are stuck in a rut and can't see further than HD shooty sweary realism.

Little King's Story is bright, colourful and cartoony, therefore a simplistic kid's game. As is Zack and Wiki and many other Wii games. - That's not true of course, but that's how many of today's gamers think.- Little King's Story is one of the most intellegent and strategic adventures this gen.

It's a damn shame that too many make their gaming purchases/choices based on how 'mature' the visuals look.

Was LKS even in the selection list of games to vote for?

No. This is why the GJ awards voting system needs a complete overall. - How can you have a list of the best Wii games of the year, with utter s**te like Force Unleashed on it, totally disregarding the real gems like Little King's Story, Punch-Out!! and World of Goo? - It's a complete joke.

You should be able to vote for any game, no matter how obscure or low-selling. After all, the big sellers seldom have that 'classic' quality to match their sales figures.

I was in gamestation the other day and two teenagers were laughing that the wii Only has madworld on a 18 certificate showing a complete lack of knowledge and these are the people voting, what chance have the developers of truly unique games got

Unfortunately, that's pretty typical. - It's usually the immature and uneducated that mock the Wii's more 'colourful' titles and crave the blood and guts stuff. - I'm 36 and can't get enough of Zack and Wiki, LKS, De Blob and Punch-Out!! - Some people just can't bring themselves to buy or play the more 'cartoony' games for fear of appearing childish.

There's also Manhunt 2, HotD Overkill and Dead Space Extraction.
So in your face, kiddies - that's four titles!

Why does everyone seem to think there are no mature titles on the Wii are they blind. Heres a list from my collection to help them in future:

The Godfather
Scarface
Manhunt 2
The Conduit
Madworld
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles
Dead Space Extraction
House of the Dead Overkill
Mortal Kombat
No More Heroes
Metroid Trilogy
Call of Duty WaW
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Red Steel
Deadly Creatures
Bikini Samurai Zombie Slayers *(I know but it was going cheap)
Cursed Mountain
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Tenchu
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Driver Parallel lines
House of the Dead 2&3
Ghost Squad
* Bully Very Happy (Oh yeah I forgot I actually had that aswell thanks for reminding me)
I hope that helps them, though a couple of these games arent very good its what I've got.
What I find funny is what people consider to be a mature or hardcore game, just because it has bright colours doesnt mean its going to be any easier. I would like to see a 10 year old collect all the stars in Mario Galaxy.

Don't forget one of my all-time favourite games, Bully.
