EA's released the first teaser trailer for its remake of American McGee's Alice.
The remake reunites the publisher with American McGee, who's constructing the "dream come true" project for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The original game, in case you missed it in 2000, is set in a considerably more disturbing rendition of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, where Alice's gone mental and is out to stab people. Read the original American McGee's Alice review for the proper lowdown.

Awesome. I always wanted to play this. Alice in Wonderland should always be done messed up! I hope Tim Burtons film will be good. Jan Svankmajer's version is by far the best film version I've seen of it so far. But yeah - 2011 is a bit of a wait.
This sounds rotten to me. Adventures in Wonderland is a great book, and adaptations of it are never as good. And American McGee is a dick. He's obviously had no decent new ideas since this stroke of genius back in 2000.
Not sure why they are wasting time advertising something for 2011 which will instantly be forgotten about. I love the orginal and I might like this version but it's bloody ages away!
well the original does have a pretty big cult following. I think it's just a sign of how the advertising used in the games industry is becoming pretty similar to the film industry. Movies get teasers yonks in advance, so not games.
Played the original (not all the way through though) it was ok but I was more into my Q3 then (I belive Alice used the quake engine). Would like to give this a go though. On a side note wasn't this meant to be made into a film with Sarah Michelle Gellar in the Alice role?
Originality is dead, long live the remake. The first game was no great shakes, I still have it in my collection so the remake would be pointless. American McGee hasn't made a good game ever with his name attached.
