It's got big beasts, lots of fire, the epic trailer voice man and a brief glimpse of some gameplay action. It's the first of three videos on the way, so there'll be more where that came from in the near future.
Hmmmm I hope there is demo before release, I usually pick up most games on release but I'm not convinced about this one, might wait and see if Game.co.uk put this on their rental list. Try before you buy me thinks...
This is the one that Joe Madureira had a hand in, isn't it?
It looks and sounds as if it could be fun, but I agree with the last poster - definitely a 'try before you buy'.....although, if it's a sandbox (which I believe it's supposed to be), then it's unlikely we'll get a demo.
I really hope this game will be good as I'm really interested in this one ever since I first heard about it. *fingers crossed*
Same here. It doesn't have to revolutionize the gaming world; I'd be quite content with a solid, fun game that has a well crafted story with not quite expected twists.
This is one of my most anticipated games at the moment- right next to Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and of course, Mass Effect 2. You're right Parma, Joe Madureira is responsible for all the awesome artwork and designs of the game. If only I could draw like that...

Anywho- really looking forward to it!
Yeah, I remember Joe Madureira from when he did Uncanny X-Men all those years ago. The guy was a comic-book prodigy.....in fact, he's probably only about 27 now!
27? A year older than myself and talent is already oozing out of him. The swine! I have the Battle Chasers comic he did... then never continued. Which is a shame 'cos it's got loads of potential.

I was only joking - he's got to be older than 27 by now, but (if I recall correctly) he was only about 20-21 when he first started out in comics and nailed the regular slot on Uncanny pretty much straight away. I think he was one of those that graduated from the Joe Kubert school in NY and practically had all the big publishers after him - a very, very talented artist indeed.
Ah... Well I like to think I'm hot on his heels but... then I'd be lying. And that'd be bad.
Well, if it makes you feel any better, he's one of the only comic book artists to get such a high-profile job at such a young age - most have to bust their guts for years before they even get a sniff of a mutant or an Avenger.
Thanks mate- and you speak the truth! I've had to work like a nutter and all I've managed so far (as far as game art is concerned) is an interview at Streamline Studios and a bit of a dabble with the guys at Codies.
Will be working on a Halo fan comic soon (depending on time), so hopefully that could lead on to bigger, better things
On another topic: I wonder what mutants and Avengers smell like...

Hmmmm - well, Beast was both an Avenger and an X-Man, so I guess you have to wonder what he smells like!
It sounds as if you're doing pretty well so far - you have to remember that very few even get the chances that you've had - so you must be doing something right (and you should never second-guess that!). Just keep at it and have a go at whatever you're offered - you really never know where anything will lead, or who picks up on it. I grew up just wanting to draw Batman for a living, but I never really took it anywhere and I really regret it now....I had a fair bit of talent, but it's really all about the hours of effort you put in.
Let me know if you do this Halo stuff, I'd love to see it.
