Another Fable III image has turned up on the internet, showing artwork for one of the third game's cities.
Lionhead overlord Peter Molyneux recently confirmed that Fable III will use Natal, along with the first word on an in-game shop for purchasing add-ons such as swords and dungeons without quitting to Marketplace.

I wonder how there going to implement Natal into the Game? Voice or Facial Recognition or full on body motion control (squating down to fart )?
Loved Fable 2, so this is a mos def for me.
That's the big question, really.
I can't wait to see what they have planned for Natal and Fable 3 - I'm sure Peter Molyneux has plenty of brilliant ideas for it, but whether they'll actually appear in the finished product is another thing. Facial and voice recognition would be a fantastic addition and quite an achievement - I think it could also add some intriguing elements to a game like Fable.
I think we can certainly expect Natal to be used for some of the RTS parts that have been hinted at.
In a lot of ways, I expect most will be looking at Fable 3 as a good demontration of how Natal can be used well and what can be achieved with a good team and a lot of imagination, so it's a huge title for MS and the 360.
It's absolutely ages away and - as a 32 year old - I'm almost embarrased to admit that I really can't wait.
Voice and facial recognition when you have to explain to your wife that you have not married another 6 women, 3 goats and 1 donkey in different villages... *Does a Tim Roth impression* That little upturned side of the lips.... the slight twitch in your left eye...
In all honesty, Fable has always been in my heart along with Black and White, Despite all the buffs peter gives the franchise, I just pure love the art style, the way it plays and what Fable is all about. I grew up with this thing, and will continue to buy it for as long as its alive to be honest.
Cannot wait to see what this bring with Natal, and indeed it will demonstrate to others the potential of natal.
Can't help but feel that the main story here isn't the use of natal but the introduction of an in-game shop to buy swords with actual money? What?
You want me to buy extra content for a game that will do nothing to really change the experience. (because you can finish the game without buying one i guess)
I know I know I don't have to buy if I don't wont to but its just irritating.
Just feels like a slippery slope where one day you will buy the game, then have to buy the character you want, then the ememies you want, then the weapons you want and the level you want etc...
I know the companies want our money but I will refuse to be fed games piecemeal. I want complete games.

I totally agree and won't be taking any part in that side of the game at all. It's something that I'm absolutely opposed to.
At the end of the day, there is no way that they can make that essential to the completion of the game - so I'm hoping that these in-game micro-transactions die on their a**e.

Ł1 for a sword skin? - no chance.
Agree with you both. I bet all the best weapons/objects will only be available to purchase, as opposed to the old-fashioned way of exploring or passing difficult tasks.

Thjere is an FPS on the iPhone that does that, called "Extinction" or something.
Basically the game is free to play and download, but you have to pay for better guns, armour, health packs etc.
If you could buy "weapons kits" in Fable 3, for example maybe an assassin kit, where you get an outfit, headgear, sword, boots etc for Ł1 that's not all that bad.
But a quid for a sword, or a shield, or a jacket? You can bugger that right off.
Then again, i can remember when MS announced that they would charge for avatar items everyone was saying it was disgusting and that they would never pay.
Looking over my friends list, i can almost guarantee that EVERYONE on there has downloaded at least one item.
So maybe doing the same in Fable isn't the worst idea out there.....
I don't have any DL avatar clothing because I think it's pointless.
From a business side I think it's a great idea but sadly it leaves me in the cold.
Micro-transactions to me is the biggest legacy this generation of consoles will leave behind.
I think they undermine the enjoyment of playing a game from start to finish and the feeling of contentment, knowing that you have surmounted the challange set by the developer at the beginning of the purchase. Introducing weapon additions and extra vechicles etc. via DLC feels like a dilution of the original vision.
And thats it for me, the whole package should be a complete creative vision that is not held back by marketing and content deployment.
Then if you want more money out of me make a sequel.
