New Nintendo downloads this week

Tales of Monkey Island and new Bomberman arrive
Nintendo's slapped seven new games on its online systems this week, including a new Bomberman game and another chapter of Tales of Monkey Island.

Here's the full official list:

WiiWARE - UNO
(Gameloft, 500 Wii Points)

Get ready to call "UNO" on your Wii! The world famous card game for friends and family fun has been recreated for Wii with the game's classic identity and rules that are easy enough for anyone to understand.

Players can have fun customising the game rules and discovering new ways to play UNO like "UNO 7-0", "UNO Challenge", "Jump In" and many others.

There is also a thrilling multiplayer mode on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection which allows up to six people to experience all the enjoyment of playing UNO with friends. For a truly immersive experience, talk to your opponents and call out "UNO" for real using Wii Speak. Victory has never been so enjoyable.

WiiWARE - Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3: Lair of the Leviathan
(Telltale Games, 1000 Wii Points)

In the third Tales of Monkey Island chapter, Guybrush gets stuck in (literally!) as his quest for the voodoo exfoliating La Esponja Grande takes a scenic twist -through the guts of a giant manatee!

This time, our hero encounters a surprising band of castaways, including the long-lost explorer Coronado De Cava. Can the Mighty Pirate win the suspicious De Cava's trust? Will sexy pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay prove to be a ruthless enemy, or an unlikely ally? Will the group find La Esponja Grande in time to save Elaine from the rampant Pox of LeChuck? And will the world be crushed by the gnashing teeth of a certain demonic skull? Find out in Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3: Lair of the Leviathan.

WiiWARE - Manic Monkey Mayhem
(The Code Monkeys, 1000 Wii Points)

Like so many fights, nobody really knows where, how or when the rivalry started, but this group of monkeys have been battling for as long as they can't remember where it all began. Their chosen fighting style is the ancient art of Banana Flinging and, now sworn enemies, this band of angry apes is each determined to out-last the other in a furious contest of fruity warfare.

Controlling one of eight monkeys you will to do battle with up to seven others across eight different themed landscapes. In single player, you'll battle through three increasingly difficult missions ranging from survival to coconut fights, or have a one-off battle against the clock, as a team or in a standard death-match.

Connect additional Wii Remotes to battle against up to three additional players or compete against strangers or your friends over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Connect a Wii Balance Board to add more mayhem to the fun.
May the best monkey win!

NINTENDO DSiWARE - Bomberman Blitz
(Hudon Software, 500 Nintendo DSi points)

This week on Nintendo DSiWare Bomberman Blitz, the next in the Bomberman series, is available to download.

With 10 million copies sold the Bomberman series is the definitive party game, great for a quick battle anywhere, anytime. Additionally Bomberman Blitz enables you to use the wireless option and play with up to 8 other owners of the game.

Also on offer is the chance to brawl your way through 10 battle game stages from 'Bomberman 2'.

NINTENDO DSiWARE - SUDOKU
(Electronic Arts, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)

SUDOKU offers hundreds of number-crunching puzzles that will stretch your brain power to the limit. Play in the exclusive Newspaper Mode, adding puzzles from your favourite daily paper, and start your own collection.

SUDOKU features a host of grid designs, stat tracking and an in-game timer to test your reaction time. Put your skills to the test and play on five different levels, from Easy to Insane.

NINTENDO DSiWARE - A Little Bit of... All-Time Classics: Family Games
(Nintendo, 500 Nintendo DSi Points)

Enjoy some of the world's favourite games together in one handy collection, playable with Touch Screen controls, and with support for up to eight players.

A Little Bit of... All-Time Classics: Family Games features five popular board and parlour-style games: Hearts, Contract Bridge, Dominoes, Dots and Boxes and Ludo.

Play solo against computer opponents, learn the rules with in-depth instructions, and play with friends wirelessly (only one player needs a copy of the game). You can even send a game to a friend's Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi as a gift (until they switch off their system).

VIRTUAL CONSOLE - Fighting Street
(Capcom, Super Nintendo, 800 Wii Points)

Fighting Street is a spin off of the arcade version of Street Fighter, the legendary fighting game that started it all.

Players control Ryu or Ken and battle against unique fighters from all over the world. The first fighter to knock out their opponent and win two rounds is the winner.

Power up your attack to three different levels - the longer you hold a button, the stronger your attack. Input a series of button commands to perform special attacks and deal serious damage to your opponent. Combine your normal and special attacks effectively to fight your way to victory.

Where the hell are the N64 classics, it's been almost 4 months and I'm still yet to see anything new, I really wish nintendo would hurry up and release Pilot Wing 64 and Mario Tennis 64, not to mention Rouge Squadron.

A good week though, I'm just getting impatient.
