BioWare's put out new Mass Effect 2 screenshots - here they are. Most of the latest shots show off a new Geth character that's decided to start stalking our hero Sheppard - and that's the kind of stalking with a rifle, not just going through the bin bags.

BioWare detailed the game's new enemies - which include a race of insect-like aliens called The Collectors - in a dev diary released earlier today. Why not give it a watch?

Mass Effect 2's out on January 29 in Europe with a Collectors' Edition. We're quietly excited.

Just a nerdy thought, on screenshot 1/9:

If you were some sort of hot-shot intergalactic super-agent, wouldn't you be somewhat p**sed by the fact that your gun has a bright red heads-up display that tells your ENEMIES how many rounds of ammo you still have left? That strikes me as a serious design flaw...

Sadly, that thought had crossed my mind too! I saw it in one of the vids that wer released. I know I wouldn't wanna use that gun!!! Laughing
