Modern Warfare 2 footage has spawned all over the internet after US retailer Gamestop broke the street date this weekend.
We've compiled some of the best videos below. Most are spoiler-free and from the multiplayer side of the game, but you're best to read the video description before clicking anyway... unless you want to ruin your day.
even if there is some major issues with this game its gonna get top score I heard from a few friends that have had it that its mostly average with some really awesome "moments" I admit I watched the first 9 minutes video and its just like the opening of cod4mw even the lines are the same (minus the fruit killing skills bit) Still gonna get it though.
i got it on friday finished it saturday night, epic epic epic , alot of the levels look amazing with all whats going on, want someone else whos finished the game so we can tak about the ending haha
my copy just got here so I probably will have caned the SP campaign in 8 hours time. Just go to do some shopping and hit the gym first. Got my star trek blu ray too woo hoo few days of geeking it out me things my psn and xbl are same as my forum names if anyone is up for playing something sometime.
Well well well it appears the people who spent months berating the £55rrp were wasting their breath as expected; * Sainsbury’s – £26 * Asda – £32 * Tesco – £37.90 (or £25 when bought with another chart game) * HMV – £9.99 when either Forza 3, Tekken 6 or Uncharted 2 are traded in * GAME – £25 off when the first Modern Warfare is traded in * Blockbuster – £44.99 (or £19.99 when a ‘selected game’ traded in) * Morrisons – Unknown
And here's a look at some of the online prices:
* Amazon – £43.99 (PS3/360) and £34.96 (PC) * Game.co.uk – £44.99 (PS3/360) and £34.99 (PC) * Gamestation.co.uk – £44.99 (PS3/360) and £34.99 (PC) * Play.com – £44.99 (PS3/360) and £34.99 (PC) * Simplygames.co.uk – £46.79 (PS3/360) and £35.79 (PC) * Zavvi.co.uk – £44.95 (PS3/360) and £34.95 (PC)
Wonder how many boycotts over the price will still take place
bloody hell. £26... that's a bargain.. but I'm sure stocks will be very limited at those big supermarkets so it's probably more of a cynical tacktic to get people through the doors. I paid £42.94 at game.co.uk. Bit of a kick in the balls, but I do have it in my hands now and a good session will happen this evening. http://twitpic.com/ov99a
The boycott's not over price, but dedi servers, at least for me and my gaming friends. And, despite the nice pretty vids, we'll just not be buying it.
IW.net's a joke. Activision are patronising gits. The game may well be fan-fekkin-tastic, but I can wait a few months to pickup a cheap one for the single-player experience.

Ciao Bella!
No mate, I was referring to the people who were saying I'm not buying it because of the RRP, a while before the whole dedicated servers thingy
