Netflix PS3 available now

Netflix, the subscription-based movie streaming service, has gone live on PS3 in US.

The service, which has been available on 360 in the US for some time, allows users to sift through thousands of movies and stream them instantly through a broadband connection for a monthly subscription fee of $8.99 (read loads more info here).

If you're a Netflix subscriber, all you need to do to get it working on your PS3 is apply for the free Netflix Instant Streaming disc here, and you'll get it in the post.

Unfortunately for us Brits, Netflix is a US-only deal, but Sony has recently released details for the PS3 Video Store, expected to go live here soon.
