Although ND marketing rep Arne Meyer is quick to say "We can't guarantee that we'll be releasing the most popular playlist", they do go on to add: "but we really want to know what you'd like to see."
Here's the list of new modes:
Plunder Only All Plunder, all the time. No variations, nothing but capping treasure and shooting enemies.
Crushing: All Game Types The Crushing variation on all maps with all game types. Crushing is a more hardcore version of our rule set where players have less health and no Boosters are active.
Crushing: Deathmatch Only The Crushing variation on all maps in standard Deathmatch only.
Skilled Objectives All Objective game types, but now with a Skill Level. Skill Levels are tied to each playlist, so all players would start with a Skill Level of 1 in this playlist, regardless of the Skill Level already achieved in the Ranked playlist.
Deathmatch Variants Only All the Deathmatch variants including Sniper/Pistole, Pistols/Grenades, RPG's, and Crushing.
How about reducing number of hits required to take somebody down? It would be much better if it only took a couple of hits for a kill rather than standing for ages trying to pump half a clip into a moving target.
more co-op missions, and split screen co-op is what i want for uncharted 2. come on guys if infinity ward can do it with MW2 surely yous can. im sick of getting games on my 360 and every single one supports co-op, than buying games on my ps3 and 1 in 20 has co-op. why did sony make the ps3 capiable of having 7 controllers connected at once, if theres not 1 game that takes advantage of that? and like 2% of the available gaming library supports 2.
I finished Uncharted 2 a couple of days ago. What. A. Game!
I enjoyed the ending too. Poor Drake really has to work to just stay alive!
I'm not really a fan of a huge variety of modes.... there are already too many for me to get my head round.
I just want to play co-op campaign with a friend, from beginning to end of the whole story.
What I'd really like to see is downloadable mini-campaign chapters. RE:4 was cool where you could play as the girl and fill in the story gaps. It would be cool to play as the other characters and fill in the holes.

Yes, now THIS is what I really want!
Anyone else notice that the name Rika Raja occurred in the credits at the end of the game even though she never appeared? Well, she seems to be the female lead in The Eye of Indra (the motion comic). I'm guessing that we'll be getting a downloadable single-player campaign at some stage... Unless of course she just turns up as a character in multiplayer, which would disappoint me.
Maybe one of the Crushing options, there's probably a lot of hardcore players on there already. An all-new co-op for the full game would be brilliant, and wouldn't be hard to do I think. We take control of whatever character Drake is with at the time, and work with their objectives, while someone else plays as Drake, simple.
some kind of co op added to the single player would be good. Half of the changes mentioned though could be introduced with a patch. sounds like most of the code would already be on the disc anyway.
