Darksiders 'The Horseman's Road' Trailer

Yet more apocalyptic, giant blade-thrusting action from THQ
THQ and its studio Vigil are seem to be on an apocalyptic roll these last few days, unleashing one brutal Darksiders video after another.

This latest footage, entitled 'The Horseman's Road' features a good indication of the sort of grim, comic-book fun we can expect, as your quarter of 'The Four Horsemen' stomps across a ruined earth and does battle with angels and demons - usually with a sword you could hang an entire commune's washing on.

Featuring the artwork of popular comic-book bod Joe Madureira (The Uncanny X-Men), it could be an early good 'un when it hits stores in January 2010.

This ticks all the right boxes for me.

I just hope its out the beginning of January and not the end, wouldnt fancy its chances against ME:2.
