DSi LL could have been called DSi Executive

Nintendo gives away a few of its code names
The latest 'Ask Iwata' article from Nintendo Japan takes a look at the process of how the new, larger DSi came to be. The Q&A reveals other possible names for the overgrown handheld such as "DSi Comfort," "DSi Executive," "DSi Premium" and "DSi Living."

It's reported that the firm decided to use "Nintendo DSi XL" at one point (thanks Andriasang).

Even Shigeru Miyamoto had his say, dropping "DSi Deka" into the mixing pot (Deka meaning 'large' in Japanese).

Somehow they all make LL seem a bit tame...

I'm so glad it wasn't called the dsi executive, that just sounds pompous, I mean imagine coming home, 'oh I've just bought a dsi executive'.

Good for a laugh though.
