UK CHART: Mass Effect 2 keeps top spot

Mass Effect 2 has held on to the top spot of the UK all-formats chart for a second week, holding off newcomers Dante's Inferno and Star Trek Online.

EA's Hell bruiser (read our review) entered the chart at number four, while Star Trek Online managed number 11 with box copy sales.

Great to see a 'game' at the top of the charts. Congrats to Bioware. I'll be enjoying this fantastic looking game at some point this year.

And congrats to Zipper, too. An exclusive online only game staying in the top 10 is a tremendous achievement, surely?

Regardless of the many negative reviews the game has had, I am finding it to be the most enjoyable online shooter I have ever played.

That's more down to the guys playing it though. Everybody seems to be using a mic now, which was my only initial concern for the game.

Everybody on there seems to be having a lot of fun. Long may it continue!

Whilst its not suprising, its great to see ME2 at the top still, deserves all the sales it gets.

As for the game, TBH, for me, it had a shaky start, I was a little concerned it hadn't lived up to the standard ME1 set, but I was wrong, it gets better the deeper you get in, currently 13 hours in and its really starting to grab hold now.

Mass Effect 2 is an incredible game. I love it.

I only finished it last night and I am now on my second play through and I never immediately start a second play through of any game.

I am now playing all the renegade options.
