And along with the delicious Sapphic undercurrents of Dead Or Alive Xtreme Volleyball, this can only be a good thing. The future of videogames, no less. The "XXX" content manifests itself in various ways: your first port of call should be the character creation mode where you can lovingly mould the male or female rider of your choice. Whereas in other titles this is as bland and as pointless an exercise as selecting helmet colours and styles of t-shirt (brilliant), XXX allows you to fashion a fine work of debauchery. We opted for a rather muscular, topless lady with a Kylie-short skirt and pants showing. And yes her joyously pert breasts flap effortlessly in the wind as she pedals through the game. Winner.
Furthermore, each stage is littered with sordid, morally bankrupt NPCs who will utter double- and, more usually, single-entendre abuse in your direction and these range from tramps to pimps and prostitutes. But the adult content actually plays a crucial role in the structure of the game. Coin collection is essential and numerous gold nuggets can be found in hard-to-reach places, and after bagging a few a quick trip to the local strip joint may prove fruitful.

Built on solid gaming foundations and with a initially entertaining hook the only question that remains is whether the mature content will remain fun or quickly become tiresome.
