Actua Tennis Review

Tennis, you either hate it or you don't play it.
Yet another in the Actua range, what next ? Actua Frisbee? Still if it keeps them busy and helps the housebound to participate in good, wholesome sports, it can't be all bad. Enter Actua Tennis, which brings the world of tennis and its superstars to your thumbs.

It's a piece of cake to get started, and dead easy to play, with tons of the top stars to choose from, from 'Pistol' Pete Sampras to that nice boy Tim Henman. There's a choice of different court surfaces, and tournaments from around the world, which suits some players more than others, so it's well tactical.

It's nice to pick up a game and be able to play it right away, no need to remember to hit a brain mashing sequence of buttons. Getting the serve right is the hardest thing about it, and after a few goes that becomes easier, so after a while you'll be taking pot shots at the ball boys.

// Overview
Verdict
This is realy easy to get into, and muchos fun for a while. Obviously there's not much variety, which is a drawback, but it's worth a gander if youire looking for something to rent. Real tennis fans, however, would be advised to look at Sampras Extreme, which is now dirt cheap.
