A cool movie licence - terminated

Maybe it's the dawn of a new kind of videogame: one that only works laterally. Y'see, after a few hours play, you really will feel like Kyle Reese and want to travel back in time and undo everything Terminator is about to mess up. Sadly, CVG's time machine is bust and we all have to live with the reality that this great movie licence just got terminated - again.

It's action all the way as you try to get Kyle to the time machine so he can fight Arnie in the first movie.

The atmosphere is very Terminator, but gameplay is repetitive, mostly involving manoeuvring your badly animated character through huge but poorly designed levels, shooting at enemies with terrible AI. Awful camera angles linked to your controls make some levels virtually unplayable.

While the adrenalin boost which makes your character faster and stronger helps, when it runs out and you're stumbling around in a dark room with 20 evil eyes glowing in your direction, you'll wonder why you bought a half-finished game.
