Dredd dices with Death

Feared and respected Mega City One lawman Judge Dredd is back busting more perp ass today in new screenshots from Dredd versus Death.

In development at Rebellion and based on the comic strip from 2000AD, the PC and next-gen console first-person shooter finds Joe Dredd stomping futuristic streets, dispensing justice and ultimately trying to thwart the designs of arch-rival Judge Death.

Rebellion certainly appears to be doing a fine job of translating the dystopian world depicted in the Judge Dredd comic strip across to its videogame, the world of Mega City One, replete with bustling life and gargantuan tower blocks, oozing ambience.

Being fans of the 2000AD comic, we're hoping for good things from Dredd versus Death, and so far it looks as though Rebellion won't disappoint.
