A full-blown and exclusive sequel to last year's popular original, Xbox-exclusive Redeemer is set nearly two decades later, again in the unfortunate town of Ashcroft.

Redeemer is both faster and more intense than before, packing more than 30 monsters onto the screen at a time in the 20 or so all-new levels. Hunters also have more moves and greater control during attacks, plus there are loads of new pick-ups and several new playable hunters including Kaylie, whose parents came to an unfortunate end in the last game. There are even playable monsters.

So while the core gameplay remains much the same, there's more of pretty much everything as well as plenty of refinements such as closer camera angles and more choice on how you develop your characters as they gain experience. Oh, and it looks mint too.
