He's mean, green and on your next-gen machines

A console game is as much a partner for a summer blockbusting movie as a large Coke and bucket of popcorn these days.

With Enter The Matrix and X-Men: Wolverine's Revenge already blazing a trail, it's time for the big green wrecking machine to make his mark.

A Man Of Two Halves
The idea of splitting the game into two sections seems like a good one at first. The problem is that the Bruce Banner sections of the game are painfully dull, consisting of little more than hiding from soldiers, creeping around corridors and solving laughably simple puzzles.

The Hulk sections, however, are far more fun. There are tons of ways to dispatch your enemies with more becoming available as you progress through the game. To help you in this task, almost all the scenery can be ripped up and used against your aggressors. Watch the military men weep as you hurl a burning car in their direction or swipe them in the face with a fallen slab of concrete. Picking them them up and hurling them off buildings is particularly satisfying.

In the end, though, there simply isn't enough depth or variety to make this a very worthwhile purchase.
