Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition

Midway's brutal beat-'em-up series makes the transition to handheld
What better way to celebrate GBA's transition from non-back-lit kid's toy to fully illuminated lifestyle accessory than with an enhanced and souped-up version of everybody's favourite blood-soaked fighter? Chock full of new features, this new MK looks on track to serve up a grizzly fatality to all other handheld fighters.

The biggest addition sees you pitching your fighter and a mate's against two rivals. Fights are two versus two and while we're yet to see this feature running, it's got our blood boiling in anticipation. Other new features include practice rounds, brand new characters, improved visuals and the ability to gamble your hard-earned 'koins' to win and unlock extras.
