ECTS 2003: N-Gage sees Red. Faction

New screens of Martian blasting justice on the games console that thinks it's a phone? You'd scarcely credit it, and yet that's exactly what we have for your delectation today, N-Gage N-amoured people.

No less a gaming legend than John Romero is taking charge of the N-Gage version of this first-person shooter, and even if John rather blotted his copybook with Daikatana, any guy with a hand in the making of Quake and Doom has got to have something going on.

Romero's new development team Monkeystone is yet to announce exactly when Red Faction comes to the N-Gage, but with multiplayer action as well as a single-player mode we're talking about potential phone-based deathmatch - and how cool would that be if it were done properly? Well cool, we're saying. More on Red Faction soon, hopefully.
