Athena Sword now "on" schedule, says confused Ubisoft

Wednesday 22-Oct-2003 2:03 PM Amazing volte-face action as the expansion for Rainbow Six 3 is apparently back on track - in Europe at least
After an "admission" that Rainbow Six 3 add-on Athena Sword would suffer delay and not be released until 2004, Ubisoft has now issued a follow-up announcement that categorically states the expansion will meet its original street date.

According to Ubisoft UK, the delayed-till-2004 statement appeared due to "some mistake made with communication" and that, as always stated, Athena Sword will arrive on November 28 this year - in Europe anyway.

At this time it's not yet clear whether the expansion is still on track to meet its original release date in the US. We'll keep you informed.
