Dead To Rights storms onto PC

First screenshots from the PC-bound console cop story
Grizzled cops, you gotta love 'em ,right? Whether toying in fascistic fashion with a perp a la Dirty Harry, revoking Diplomatic Immunity in unmistakeable style like Riggs in Lethal Weapon, or else complimenting Priscilla Presley on her Beaver in finest Frank Drebin fashion, whacking bad guys and saving the day never gets old.

So it is in Namco's Dead To Rights, a formerly console-bound third-person shooter that offered generous opportunity to bust bad-asses, fire guns and generally act like a real tough guy. Now Hip Games and LSP are bringing the title to PC.

Starring a bluff fellow named Jack Slate who has been framed for a crime he didn't commit (that's his story anyway) and is out to avenge the despicable murder of his father, you can see why Jack's a bit miffed, which perhaps explains his kill first, don't bother asking questions at all approach.

Expect intense gunfights, slo-mo diving action in a Max Payne stylee, and mini-games that include such glittering delights as arm wrestling, bench presses and (ulp) pole dancing. Whether it's Jack himself who will be working that booty remains sadly unclear for now; for now, all we can reveal for definite is that the game is scheduled to hit PC from November 21.
