Adventures in the PC Gamer Sporecast

Now that we've found a quicker way to update it, the PC Gamer Sporecast is booming. It's a collection of our absolute favourite stuff in Spore - over 550 creations, including Vehicles, Buildings and UFOs in addition to the usual creatures. You can subscribe to it, or even use it as your 'Theme' - in which case Spore will stick solely to this stuff wherever possible. I did just this the other week, and the attached screenshots tell the story. Start here.

Issue 28 in shops... ages ago!

Holy sloth, Batman! Apologies, dear readers, for the blog's poor upkeep, but with the wonder that is Lego Batman stuck in our Wii we've been a tad distracted. Now, with studs up to our ears and the Joker and co well and truly beaten, we can return to business. Have no idea what we're talking about? Then you clearly haven't read the rather fabulous issue 28 - sitting on shop shelves now...

    DEFCON invades Multiwinia

We've just got a new build of the delectably pixelly action-strategy lunchtime game from Introversion, and it contains a surprise. A power-up I hadn't seen before, dropped in a crate: Nuke. Obviously I had some idea of the deal here, so I plonked its generous blast radius down on a ripe bunch of reds. And this happened:

PC Zone 199: We dun a magazeen

By now PC Zone should have entered your home and started tipping things over and making your mum cry. It's certainly the most loutish issue we've done, with the crude scrawls of WAR's Greenskins turning our cover into a grammatical wasteland (well, moreso than usual).
