No, but if it was the clue would be something like: Youth Hides the Key to Salvation. Smile

You're going to have to explain that for us thickies. Did I say us? It is of course just me. And my stickle bricks.

If GOG add Sanitarium, I'll buy you a copy.

Shocked you're kidding...

Speaking of bugs, it's prone to crashing a bit on XP, but I remember finding someone's website where they were working on a patch or port of the engine or something.

It's still playable, especially by following some online advice, but can still crash unexpectedly.

Anyway, On-topic: http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/9071/mindmelt.jpg
(Sorry, I couldn't really think of anything).

The bit I got stuck was

Quote:
Q : What proof can I give to Gravin so he could be convinced about Gromna ?
A : You got to have the baby Cyclops in the bottles in Queen's chamber. First, get the insectoid pincher from Gravin's office (it's at the back side of the office). Use the pincher to cut the bottle loose.

It just refused to acknowledge there was anything to click on - as though the bottles were part of the scenery. I spent an hour pixel huting before eventually giving up. That was about 9 years ago.

The only game I can think of with a polar bear is Cryostasis, though that picture didn't look like the polar bear part of the game to me, so it probably isn't that but some other left handed ursine related entertainment that I'm yet to witness.

To be honest, it'd be at least that long since I played the game last myself. I did load up another copy *cough* recently to check out the business of it running in XP but didn't play very far. I don't remember getting stuck though. Sadly no idea where my saved games are.

@peachFUZZ: Oh trust me, I wouldn't want you to witness it at all. That'd be too cruel. In fact, I'd probably have to apologise to you...

It's the thought that counts, and I wouldn't dream of holding you to that. But bless you and all who sail in you.

This game was a lot better without the constant esoteric dialogue. I feel like I've been trapped in a Wachowski film.

Right genre, wrong franchise, and your guesses are a tad too recent. Almost there! Wink

It looked too pretty to be mechwarrior 2 but I don't know any other franchises that are similar.

I'm sure that's was the only mech game I ever bought and remember completing it on my P60. Lots of pods across the ladnscape with robots in if it's the same one althought the name escapes me.
