How to use the JAP and US PSN store now!!!

Here in the UK we get the worst PSN store, we get everything later and the Ameicans get more stuff and the Japanese get more stuff then the Americans.

So this is how to access the US/JP stores on your PS3, and dont worry it dosent affect your UK account. I've had the Sega Rally Demo, Puzzle Fighter Demo, from the US store and weird demos and movies from the JP store.

1) Create two new user's on your PS3 through the option on the far left of the XMB. I called mine "Jap Monkey boy" and "USA monkey boy" so I could remember which was which.

2) Obtain a USA address and a Japanese address. They are easy to get, try looking on a corprate information page on a large companys website. E.g a rarther large search engine's information page! (Update: You can put in any old rub bish into here now, it doesnt check anymore!)

3) Now log in on your PS3 with the user who will be your USA store user, and under "Network" in the XMB select "Sign up to Playstation Network".

4) Follow the steps and use the USA address you "obtained" in step 2 to complete the sign up proccess. --- NOTE --- It is a good idea to write down which box wants what information for each of the signing up steps because when you do the JP PSN store all the instructions are in Japanese and you wont know what to write in the boxes.

5) YAY! You should now be able to download from the US PSN store. Sign up to the Japanese store the same way you done the USA one but using the JP address. -- NOTE -- on the Japanese sign up process the address input page is slightly re-agranged compaired to the USA address stage, so you may need to play around a little but its not hard!

So now you have a Japanese PSN store access and you have seen all those amazing Japanese PS1 games like Bishi Bashi Special but you cant getthem becuase your credit card dosnt work on the JP PSN store. DONT WORRY! You can buy pre-paid cards from a guy on ebay who sends the code via email. I've got Metal Slug, Bio-Hazard Directors cut, Destruction Derby, Bishi Bashi Special, King of Fighters '98, R-type, and more! Have Fun!

in jap account u don't need address, type anything randomly or leave it to your dog,monkey or cat to do that.

I tried doing this with the usa store but it asked me to enter my details for sign in master account and when i did it said the details didnt match the country of the master account.....what do i do?!?!?!

Or you can create a Hong Kong account instead of Japanese. The store content is identical but everything is on English.

woop woop I got usa and japan psn but wen I installed def jam icon wen I went 2 play it said data was corrupted is that just the game or everything i download from usa coz im downloadin every demo just now

Thanks, im using the hong kong one rather than jap as i couldnt get english text up.

Also you dont need to add any info at all. I just put H for everything, as i did for my us account on XBL, no-one checks it.

I use the Japanese store and not the hong kong store because firs of all even though you think the two stores are the same, they are not. There are a few things that are only on the JAP PSN (the echo chrome video I think is one of them) also becuase I know that this guy on ebay is safe and he'll send the pre-paid code to your pay pal account within 24 hours.

I read in a magazine that GT prologue can be obtained for free from the japanese PSN thing. can anyone confirm this is true?
