PC, Mac and PSP versions detailed inside Sports Interactive and Sega have just revealed that Football Manager 2010, for PC and Mac and Football Manager Handheld 2010 for PSP will release on October 30.... read more
Why can't they just release it on 1st September, when the transfer window closes? Having to wait until October means 2 months of the season already gone. _________________ Modern Warfare 2 - 10.11.09
The Tactics Creator sounds impressive, the News Centre as well.
One thing that I'd like to see overhauled, is training setup. I find it a pain in its current state and would love it if they made it so the coaches you hire automatically set the training regimes in whatever field they specialise in.
Depending on how good they are, the better your players train and improve or vice versa. This could lead to other teams trying to poach your coaching staff more often though!

That would be a pain considering the amount of last minute transfers I guess. Then they'd have to wait to get copies pressed and packaged as well. Impossible, unless they get people to download an update.
Has there been any improvements to the 3D match engine?
The pre/post match conference feature was a nice touch the previous version, but in my opinion became slightly generic and boring after a will. Will the conference feature be making a return and will it be changed in any way? Also are there any other features like this that will provide added dimensions to the managers job?
Ok this may be a rather niche question to ask, and ever so slightly mundane, but its been my biggest single gripe about the series for years now, just because its so obvious and simple to fix, and yet would hugely improve the interface, so I'd be very grateful if you'd ask him:
Why does searching for new signings have to be so bloody RSI-inducing? Why hasn't anyone thought to enable the scroll wheel to flick through players? If you search for a striker you might click through 50 players, but as it stands you have to click on a name, move the pointer to the back button, click again, move the pointer to the next name, click again, move the pointer to the back button, click again.......... Scroll wheel! Please! Or at the very least the Up and Down buttons!
If no one at SI has thought of this then I'm happy to waive my intellectual property rights, just for the love of god enable it so I don't have to use an ice pack on my wrist after every transfer window. _________________ Click Here
