We have developed monitors with gamers in mind, such as the W2252TQ, which when set to Movie Mode creates some of the most life-like images experienced on a PC. This event gives us a great opportunity to further showcase and engage gamers by demonstrating the design and technological capabilities of our award winning PC monitors.
Exhibitors
Main Sponsors, electronics giant – LG will be showcasing their latest gaming monitors and lifestyle goods in their massive 100m2 lounge area. The finals will take place in side the LG area in what will prove a spectacular end to the gaming marathon on the Sunday as £35,000 is up for grabs in cash! Dawn of War II will also be on the LG stage
Games Industry giants EA will be showcasing, in their massive 40m2 stand consisting of 2 walls of consoles and huge central PC area, the likes of Facebreaker, Mirror’s Edge and FIFA 09 amongst some other top secret, highly anticipated titles that are set to cause quite a stir in the world of PC Gaming!
Want to play Left 4 Dead, the massively anticipated zombie co-op experience from Valve? Then you'll need to come to Showdown, where you can try the game for yourself, and meet some of the team responsible for a gaming legend in the making in their own 35m2 exhibition area
When you start to lag head straight for the Rustlers girls where you can relieve some tension with a relaxing massage and refuel with a hot, tasty snack before your next round! Rustlers will also be sponsoring the Unreal Tournament and putting up some great prizes from their GameSafe kit including a Mini Microwave Oven, Fridge, Saitek Mouse and Keyboard, an Ultimate Gaming Chair and of course, a six month supply of Rustlers; so make sure you sign up on arrival!
Ubisoft will be showcasing one of the most anticipated games of the year, Far Cry 2, so come and have a go! There will also be a showcase for Prince of Persia. Not to be missed.
Other Attractions
The all American tuck shop will be open 24 hours a day to keep you stocked up on Jolt, Mountain Dew, Bawls and Gatorade amongst the usual Pringles and snack foods.
The Showdown Saloon Bar will be serving up the cold ones (to those old enough) through out the weekend. With many activities planned where prizes and cash can be won.
Hot food vendors will also be onsite to serve up everything from Pizza to Fish & Chips and burgers all to the highest of standards.
