    From my experience with other Bethesda games, I've found that if you use only one or two save game files it can help. If you have a PS3, uninstalling, and reinstalling the game data should help.

    For example, when I was playing Fallout New vegas on my PS3, I had about 10 save files, and the game was really laggy and buggy. However when I deleted most of the saves it stopped most of the lag.

    On the Xbox version you should also use only one or two saves, and if possible install the game to your HDD.
